MY STOLEN BIKE

13 06 2009

My shit got ripped off right out of the shop….when I was in the back office! Next person I catch stealing from me may never walk again much less ride a bike, this is MY personal ride so to say the least this is personal, these parts are VERY obvious, I’ll hook up a FREE “Pake” frameset or deep V wheelset for the person that finds my bike, or at least the front wheels, stem and seat….I’d be alright with that, bring it, who’s got the balls to step up?

shitty cell phone pic, it had a flat black Vuelta 3″ deep V on the back with a yellow tire….

Just show me where the bike is, or address and you are hooked up, no names dropped.

I have to tell you, when Lance announced he was coming to cycling I was like “uhhh, okay, lame Lance comeback?”, but now I am 100% Lance supporter, the dude is a F@%king marine, a solid 100% man we all wish we could be more like, he is a workhorse and just a flat out savage in the peloton. the guy broke his collarbone a few weeks ago (it seems) and he’s already racing one of the grand tours, amazing.  He get’s a photo on the blog for that!

Good Luck at the Giro Lance!!!

FROM THE UK WITH LOVE “VeloSolo”

22 04 2009

When it comes to understanding the culture of fixed gear, I think VeloSolo has it on point. They’re conversions are very cool.  They realize how much cool road/ mountain shit can be converted for your fixie. Like converting your wheels and hubs without costing you a fotune.  Check out those bolted on cogs, no slip there, and the stright bars?? those are nuts!  We should be getting some in the shop in a few weeks so stay tuned.  For now pretend your in London with some hot Eastern European girl and  go check the site- VeloSolo,  there are a lot of amazing products on their site, go peep it!!

Light Lane Concept

19 01 2009

How many of you ride at night? The only riding I do at night is after a flat or just running late in the early nights of winter.  I keep night rides short and ride less populated roads. Everyone can relate to the driver that is texting or digging for a CD, IPOD, BEER, or a cookie jar, swirve a little and you are a grease spot in the road.  Light Lane seems to be a pretty good idea. Does it work? Not really sure, I haven’t used or seen one yet. You decide, and if you get one let me know. All info at engadget.com
