MY STOLEN BIKE

13 06 2009

My shit got ripped off right out of the shop….when I was in the back office! Next person I catch stealing from me may never walk again much less ride a bike, this is MY personal ride so to say the least this is personal, these parts are VERY obvious, I’ll hook up a FREE “Pake” frameset or deep V wheelset for the person that finds my bike, or at least the front wheels, stem and seat….I’d be alright with that, bring it, who’s got the balls to step up?

shitty cell phone pic, it had a flat black Vuelta 3″ deep V on the back with a yellow tire….

Just show me where the bike is, or address and you are hooked up, no names dropped.

BLUE AND BLACK, AND…..VINTAGE

16 10 2008

The kid that ordered this bike was cool as shit, he knew what he wanted and he surfs at the same spots I do, see here in SOCAL we have the option to surf, other than just skating (yes skateboarding, duh) and riding bikes….or maybe snow, but who wants to actually live in the snow? Not me. I haven’t been in the water in a while but he got me pumped, so as soon as my sickness goes away im back in the water. Check his bike, came out clean. Thanks a lot Ryan ;)

CONVERSION

4 10 2008

Remember the silver Giant fixie (that price is not set in stone, offers welcome) with the Veece sticker on it? We converted into a vintage dented metal blue color fixie, this color reminds me of the old 64 Impala’s (hahahaha) or 60’s and 70’s Caddilacs, anyways it came out great, we used all of his parts and the bike was smooth as silk.  We did have to find a special brake though, the vintage frames don’t work well with a size 700 wheel and a brake. This is why we don’t do brakes!

“PREMIUM VINTAGE”

25 09 2008

This kid rolled by with these wheels and said “build me a fixie with these”, we decided on a color and a Premium Vintage frame and here you go.  I highly recommend bringing us wheels for your project, it saves a little money and gets done way faster. This is my favorite fixie so far, I wanted to keep it ;)

SEEING RED

23 09 2008

Another creation for the day, a bigger bike for a bigger dude, the red tires definitely look rad.

“BLUE ICE” -VINTAGE SCHWINN

18 09 2008

Check out this radical mean blue machine we pumped out for some “FREAK” (fixie freak that is) the other day, he was a really cool guy. I think this came out super clean and it rode like a dream, it sucks because about 9 out of 10 of these bikes I want to keep for myself, but since they are built to order all we do is test ride it, get it up to the proper speed and get it out the door.  That’s why i’m working on my “Vanity” bike as we speak, it’s a vintage Nishiki…and it’s gonna be LEGIT….I’ll have some sneak peek pics soon, the colors are “Vanilla Ice” i’m giving it the 80’s Miami Vice theme ;)

VINTAGE FRAME GOODS

17 09 2008

I got my hands on some AMAZING vintage frames last night, I have a Schwinn that was made in Chicago around 1970, it has the Chicago emblem on the front, I think they went to Japan around ‘74 or ‘76.  I also got a smaller Univega from the early 70’s, both of these have paint that looks close to new.  They are for sale, in fact they ALL are for sale. The bidding starts at $120 ;) Most of them will get stripped down and made into custom’s, but i don’t have the heart to touch the Univega or Schwinn in the front. I even got 3 BIG frames, in the 63 to 65 range….classics.

(also, I know all the problems with this blog, we will will have it looking proper in no time, fixiefreaks’s, bad photos, yeah we know)
